 Obama's idea for teachers to be paid extra if they raise their
students" scores is brilliant-it's time teachers were held accountable

Why does Israel think it's a good idea to destroy the home of someone who has made an offense against them? It just creates more suffering and resentment. Ouch - As Americans celebrate the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, an overwhelming majority say the 56 signers of that document would be displeased with how the country has turned out. May all of the people who have lost their homes due to fires and floods
be free from suffering and find peace. OMG! Obama might "refine" his stance on Iraq. Isn't it a good thing to continuously evaluate issues? That doesn't mean a complete turnaround, just better informed decisions. When do the facts start to get noticed? Torture doesn't work. - 'An interrogation class at Guantanamo Bay was based on a 1957 study of Chinese techniques used to obtain confessions, often false.' How can jobs get cut over and over again, but the jobless rate doesn't change? Oh yeah, we stop counting those who fall off the radar. Convenient. John McCain says he never acted inappropriately toward an associate of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, contradicting a recent claim made by one of the Arizona senator's Republican colleagues I feel so secure knowing that the press is keeping tabs on whether or not Barack and Michelle "fist bump". They make it sound like he invented it. We can only hope the press will tire of it soon. A New Zealand man has put his soul up for auction to the highest bidder. I hope he does better than the guy who tried to auction his life recently. Why does the Microsoft pursuit of Yahoo seem more and more desperate? I suppose MS knows their days are numbered.
